Democrats, Independents and thinking/caring Republicans must vote just for Democrats this year or we risk losing our democracy and all the rights that we once thought we had. It’s that important.

 

How you can help

• Obviously, be sure you are registered to vote and vote for Democrats in all races that you’re entitled to vote on - at least in 2022 and 2024. 

• Get others around you to do the same.

• If you’ve got the money, donate to the candidates especially those in states that are close for both Senate and House.

• Sign up to write to voters with PostcardstoVoters.org. I’ve been doing it for a couple of years now and I believe it’s really effective. You have to provide your own postcards and stamps. They’ll provide the message and addresses.

• I’ve already designed and ordered thousands of cards that are ready to go. I’d be happy to give some to you. Or you can make your own.

• If you can’t afford to buy stamps, let me know and I will give you a batch to start

• If you’re not someone who is comfortable online, you can work off my account as several people already are. They let me know when they have some time, and I text them the message to write and 10 addresses. They write them and mail them within three days
   

I’m currently averaging 10 postcards a day but I’m planning to increase that because the need is so dire to reach out to voters who may not have registered or who may not plan to vote.
 

The worst feeling right now is one of helplessness and with this, you have a chance to make an actual difference. It’s a chance to channel the frustration that many of us feel.
 

Of course there are other ways to help

• working with a campaign

• knocking on doors,

making phone calls.

​Do whatever you can because we need every single person if we’re going to stop what’s happening, stop our rights being taken away from us one at a time.
